New Chairman for KETRACO

Dr. Kenneth Sigilai has joined the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO) as Chairman of the Board of Directors replacing Mr. Justus Kageenu.

Dr. Sigilai who was born 46 years ago is a specialist general surgeon and a clinical researcher with a Master of Science in Clinical Research Administration (MCR) from the University of Liverpool.  He has served in various Health Management positions for over 15 years. 
He has been the District Medical Officer and Medical Superintendent of two (2) District and four (4) hospitals respectively. Some of his achievents include opening Longisa District Hospital in Bomet in 1996, conception, initiation and opening of Kapkatet Medical Training College, championing the establishment of Kabianga University Health Sciences Campus at Kapkatet and supervision of Kshs. 250M Kapkatet District Hospital expansion programme among others.

Dr. Sigilai joins KETRACO in its 6th year and promises to enhance teamwork and synergy for the general good of the Company and the country in electricity transmission. He is also self driven and result oriented.
